hey there. it’s me, hannah.

mother of a determined, sweet, blue eyed boy jackson everett born april 30, 2008 and wide eyed, smiley little girl, harper mckenna born september 2, 2009. smitten wife of super hot  amazingly loving and supportive husband justin, married september 3, 2006. thankful daughter, proud big sister and blessed friend, just to name a few. owner of   yellow lab mix, bayla, born fall 2006 who since the birth of our son has developed an anxiety disorder is lovably quirky.

home is classic suburbia with easy access to the highwaygood ‘ol neighbors, a super stop and shop, and an average age of 56 .  compared to other places i’ve called home like colorado, it’s honestly pretty mundane and uninspiring. but it’s the birth place of my children, the town in which we bought our first home and the starting point of our life as a family. our long term goal is to get the hell outta dodge find a place that better suits us on all levels; but in the here and now it’s what we’ve got and that’s more than enough.

besides director of parenting being a momma, i facilitate sales and event management for a large exposition center.  i love to be creative,  play outside, eat good food and enjoy my family . i research the hell out of obscure things like cars, real estate, shoes and cool cities to live: anything i’m into at the moment. i share my mom’s love of wind, trees, art and a good storm. i inherited my dad’s humor, perhaps a bit of his stubborness and somehow narrowly avoided his ears.

writing helps me ground all the thoughts flying around my brain. it makes me happy and offers stress relief. my hope is that it will resonate with you on some level, make you smile or laugh. if it offers you solace after a trying day with your babe or a insecure day with yourself, i’m happy.  and at the very least i hope this site will help you see that you’re not alone, that someone even more ‘out there’ is well, out there. enjoy, and thanks for reading.
