jackson is MOBILE people! the weekend of november 22 we were up in new hampshire visiting family and jackson took his first consecutive crawls. he was in his pj’s ,after a bath, on grammie tina’s living room floor! the following week he cautiously tested out this new found mobility; slowly and very steadily. this weekend he has been gaining speed but sticking to the living room rug. today, however, life outside of the living room rug (where we have played for months) was discovered. all i kept singing today was that stupid song from aladdin, a “whole new world”. so annoying, i know. adventures today included venturing into the kitchen to investigate the base boards and the cracks between the tiles and then into the hallway for a much needed knee-break on the comfy shag carpet.

the days of quite, still play amongst a pile of toys are gone. tomorrow’s task: baby proofing.

on a side note, when justin was jackson’s age today (7mos) he took his first STEPS. yeah, crazy. let’s stick to the crawling for a while longer buddy :)
